Koh Rong Samloem is part of the small cluster of islands situated 23 kms off the south west coast of Cambodia. It’s about a third of the size of Koh Rong, its “big sister” island, which is just 4 kms away across the water. When asked about M’PaiBai our guests primarily enjoy the specific vibe in this community. And rightfully so! It’s all about a relaxed, inclusive and positive attitude. That makes all the difference.
Please note that you will have to take the GTVC Speedferry from Sihanoukville – it runs four times per day or BUVA Sea (twice a day) – as these are the only boat services which dock at the M’PaiBai pier.
When you arrive you will be included in the food & drinks messenger chat. That way you will know which restaurants and bars are open, if there is a movie or quiz night and what will be on the menu that day. One of the best breakfast & lunch places in town is Seapony. Emma will make you extraordinary homemade food. You will love it. Guaranteed! Most of the restaurants will also do take-out or delivery service.
If you are planning to do some diving, then Bubbles Up is the place to be. Anne and Manua are certified diving instructors and just love to dive and show you the amazing underwater world. And if you are into hiking you can walk to wild beach and from there to Clearwater Bay. Snorkels and kayaks can be rented throughout the day.
And remember: just doing nothing all day and be your relaxed self is perfectly acceptable and highly recommended in M’PaiBai.
